Acetaldoxime CAS107-29-9 C2H5NO

Acetaldehyde oxime is a less toxic reducing agent. In the 1990s, it replaced the highly toxic hydrazine as a boiler water deoxygenation agent, and its deoxygenation effect was forty times that of hydrazine. Therefore, it was widely promoted and applied as a new type of deoxygenation agent. Acetaldehyde oxime is also an important intermediate for the synthesis of pesticides methomyl and sulfamethoxazole, which are good broad-spectrum insecticides with increasing production and demand for acetaldehyde oxime.
