Grey-green or blue-green monoclinic crystalline or crystalline powder, soluble with water and ethanol. Stable at room temperature and pressure, but easy deliquescence, exposed in the air easily oxidized to ferric salt. Slightly soluble in acetone, soluble in ethanol, easily soluble in water.
