Iron chloride hexahydrate Characteristic:
Brown yellow crystal performance: no smell, astringency, hygroscopicity strong deliquescence, in the air can deliquescence into reddish brown liquid. Highly soluble in water, water solution is strongly acidic, can make protein coagulation. Soluble in ethanol, acetone, but also soluble in liquid sulfur dioxide, ethylamine, aniline, insoluble in glycerol, phosphorus trichloride.
