Applications 

1.Aluminum Anodizing Sealant: In a boiling nickel acetate bath it seals the pores of anodic coatings, so anodized parts keep their colour and corrosion resistance, and organic dyes hold their light and weather fastness far longer.

2.Nickel Source For Electroplating Baths: Its high water solubility keeps nickel ion concentration steady in the bath, which is what delivers uniform deposition plus the adhesion and surface smoothness that decorative and engineering plating jobs need.

3.Catalyst Precursor That Decomposes To Nickel Oxide: Heated, it loses its water of crystallisation and breaks down to nickel oxide, giving catalyst makers an active nickel species for hydrogenation and oxidation work with even metal dispersion.

4.Colourant For Ceramic Glazes: Added to glaze formulations it develops stable decorative colour after firing, with the thermal stability and batch-to-batch consistency that tableware, decorative ceramics and art glazing need.

5.Textile Mordant And Nickel Intermediate: Dye houses use it as a mordant to fix colour on textile fibres, and chemical producers use it as a soluble nickel source for making other nickel compounds and reagents.
