Nickel carbonate CAS:3333-67-3 Product introduction
Name: Nickel carbonate
CAS No:3333-67-3
EINECS No: 222-068-2
Molecular formula: CNiO3
Molecular weight: 118.7
Density: 4.390
Solubility: Soluble in dilute acids. Insoluble in cold water.
Nickel carbonate Characteristic:
Nickel carbonate is light green crystal at room temperature. It is almost insoluble in water, more soluble in water containing CO2 than pure water, soluble in ammonia and dilute acid, insoluble in cold concentrated hydrochloric acid and nitric acid. When heated strongly in air, it produces oxides. Reaction with ammonium chloride solution can produce CO2 and NH3, while nickel(II) chloride solution is left.

Nickel carbonate Application:
1.Basic nickel carbonate can be used as an industrial catalyst and is a chemical product that is gradually replacing traditional petrochemical catalysts.
2.It can be used for precision plating, printed circuit board plating, general alloy plating, nickel-nickel alloy electroforming and other industries.
3.It can be used in the ceramic industry.
4.It can be used in the pigment industry.
5.High quality nickel carbonate can be used as an intermediate in the production of nickel
oxide, nickel powder and other organic nickel salts.
