sodium hexametaphosphate Characteristic:
It is colorless transparent flake like foliated glass or float sand crystalline powder. It’s easily soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvent su ch as ethanol and ether. It absorbs moisture easily. When put in air, it could sl owly absorb moisture and turn into viscose-like substance. Aqueous solution c ould react with metal ions such as Calcium, Magnesium, to form complex com pound. Melting point is 616℃(decompose). Relative density is 2.484g/cm3 (2 0℃).

1.Used as water softener, detergent, preservative, cement hardening agent, fiber and bleaching cleaning agent,
2.It is also used in medicine, food, printing and dyeing, tanning leather, papermaking, etc Tissue improver;
3.Emulsifier; Stabilizing agent; Chelating agent
4.Used for boiler water and industrial water (including dye production water, titanium dioxide production water, printing and dyeing pulp and dyeing water, cleaning color film copy water, and chemical water, drugs, reagent production water, etc.) soft agent
5.As a quality improver, it can improve the complexed metal ions, pH value and ionic strength of food, thus improving the knot strength and water holding capacity of food.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehou se, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with car e so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from pois onous substances.
