TRIS hydrochloride Application:
1.Tris-HCl is used for the growth of protein crystals at different pH conditions. the low ionic strength characteristic of Tris-HCL buffer can be used for the formation of intermediate fibers of nucleolar lamina proteins (lamin) of nematodes (C. elegans).
2.Tris-HCl is also one of the main components of protein electrophoresis buffers.
3.Tris-HCL is also an intermediate in the preparation of surfactants, sulfation enhancers and some drugs.
4.Tris-HCl is also used as a titration standard.
