Zirconia has good chemical properties. It is a weakly acidic oxide with sufficient stability to alkaline solutions and many acidic solutions (except hot concentrated H2SO4, HF and H3PO4). Crucibles made of ChemicalbookZrO2 can smelt a variety of metals such as potassium, sodium, aluminum and iron. It is also stable to sulfides, phosphides, etc. Many silicide melts and slag are also ineffective for sintering ZrO2.

Zirconium dioxide CAS:1314-23-4 Application:
1.Used for making metal zirconium and zirconium compounds, making refractory bricks and crucibles, high frequency ceramics, abrasive materials, ceramic pigments and zirconates, etc.
2.It can be used as an efficient high temperature thermal insulation material.
3.Can be used to manufacture structural ceramics, functional ceramics and artificial gemstones, etc.
4.It is used as high-purity reagent and light source of infrared spectral band, and also used for the preparation of high-purity zirconium salt
5.It is widely used in the manufacture of refractory materials, abrasive materials, ceramic pigments and zirconates, etc.
6.Mainly used for piezoelectric ceramic products, household ceramics, refractory materials and zirconium bricks, zirconium tubes, crucibles, etc. for smelting precious metals. Also used in the production of steel and non-ferrous metals, optical glass and zirconium dioxide fibers. Also used in ceramic pigments, electrostatic coatings and baking varnishes. It can be used in epoxy resin to increase the corrosion of heat-resistant salt water.
7.Used in atomic energy industry, defense industry, electronic components, ceramic toner, high temperature resistant materials, etc.
8.Manufacture of incandescent gas lampshade, enamel, white glass, refractory crucible, etc. X-ray photography. Abrasive material. Together with yttrium, it is used to manufacture light source lamps in infrared spectrometers, thick film circuit capacitor materials, and piezoelectric crystal transducer formulations. Nano-sized zirconia is used as a matrix material for polishing agents, abrasive grains, piezoelectric ceramics, precision ceramics, ceramic glazes and high temperature pigments. High-purity 4N grade is used as additives for special glass and optical fibers, glass sheets for high-refractive electron microscopes and energy-saving light sources.
